Welcome to the NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (NHS QIS) Mental Health website.
This site is the central point for information on all NHS QIS mental health projects and contains useful resources and updates on our work. Our projects are listed on the left-hand side. You will also find links to pieces of work across the wider mental health community in Scotland in order to share good practice and resources.
In 2005, NHS QIS published 'Improving the quality of mental health services in Scotland: A strategic work programme 2005-2008'
NHS QIS is working on the new strategic work programme for mental health 2009-2012 which will be published by the end of 2009. The strategy will inform the immediate work of NHS QIS for this period. Many projects are already underway - please see the project summaries on the left-hand side.
