ADHD-SERVICES OVER SCOTLAND (ADHD-SOS) PROJECT: LAUNCH OF THE SIGN GUIDELINE 52 IMPLEMENTATION REVIEW REPORT AND USER AND PARENT/CARER REPORT
NHS Quality Improvement Scotland has completed a two year programme of work to look at services for children and young people with attention deficit and hyperkinetic disorders (ADHD) in Scotland. Stage 1 of the project, a service profiling exercise, reported last year and copies of the report are available on our website.
The second stage of the project, a review of the implementation of SIGN Guideline 52, was completed in January 2008.
A parallel piece of work to seek the views of children and young people with ADHD and their parents/carers was also undertaken.
Both of these reports, and their key findings were presented at a launch event on Friday 25th April 2008 at Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.
