PURPOSE: REVIEW OF BEST PRACTICE STATEMENT

The aim of this review is to offer guidance to nurses within adult acute inpatient services, the emphasis throughout is on multi-professional, multi-disciplinary working and collaboration.

NHS Quality Improvement Scotland is currently reviewing the above best practice statement and is undertaking a multidisciplinary consultation process. 

Your contribution is a valued aspect of this process and is an opportunity for you as an individual to inform the further development of this publication, influence best practice and support continuous quality improvement.
