PURPOSE: AUDIT OF INTENSIVE PSYCHIATRIC CARE UNITS
National Minimum Standards for General Adult Services in Psychiatric Care Units (PICU) and Low Secure Environments were launched by the Department of Health in April 2002.NHS QIS plans to commission an audit of Intensive Psychiatric Care Units in Scotland against these standards in 2006/2007. The findings of this audit will be reported in 2007/2008.
