PROJECT UPDATE - SUMMER 2008

We are in the process of finalising contracts with a web-solutions company re the development of a database: PIRAMHIDS: Positive and Innovative Resources - A Mental Health Interactive Database (Scotland). Work has commenced on the concept, branding and design. We have developed a proposed submission criteria and quality assurance process. This is being reviewed and developed in line with views from the Project Steering group.      

We presented a Poster Presentation at the Developing Practice Together Conference in May 2008, and an Oral presentation was showcased at the 12th European Symposium on Suicide and Suicidal Behaviour in August 2008.  

There has been a good level of interest from those wishing to be part of the review panel pool which will have the task of quality assuring submissions to the database. Submissions are now are now being received and we are actively promoting and encouraging contribution from all aspects of mental health care provision. The website will go live on 5 September 2008.
