NHS Quality Improvement is committed to reviewing and, if necessary, updating Best Practice Statements every three years. We are particularly interested in identifying significant research or new evidence which would inform thinking in relation to best practice, or specific challenges relating to implementation which you think ought to be addressed in the statement.
We are always keen to hear from anyone who has been involved with using the statements in their own area of practice.
The Best Practice Statements currently under review are:
- The Management of Pain in Patients with Cancer
Contact Pauline Donald - Skincare of Patients Receiving Radiotherapy
Contact Pauline Donald - Routine Examination of the Newborn
Contact Joanne.Mcdonald - Maternal History Taking
Contact Joanne.Mcdonald - Admissions to Adult Mental Health In-Patient Services
Contact DThomson2@nhs.net
If you have any comments to make on the Best Practice Statements, please email the appropriate contact listed above.
