Becoming a Public Partner

If you have the experience of NHSScotland as a patient, or through caring for a friend or relative, or have a general interest in the health service, you could help with our reviews of healthcare services. In return for your commitment, we will:

  • provide full training for your new role
  • put in place any particular support you require
  • make sure you are not out of pocket when you incur expenses.

By joining our pool of Public Partners, you will be helping to ensure that our standards and guidance focus on what is important - delivering the best care possible for patients across Scotland. Once you are trained as a Public Partner, there will be other opportunities to be involved in different aspects of our work.
