Aims and Objectives
- Weave together previous initiatives by NHS QIS component organisations.
- Learn from experience of previous NHS QIS initiatives in mental health
- Adopt a Quality Improvement approach which will help mental health services in the implementation of Mental Health (Care & Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
- Focus on outcomes for individual users, building on the results of an audit project supported by NHS QIS
- Develop an information culture where up to date information is appropriately shared and based on a common data set
- Accredit the development of locally agreed Integrated Care Pathways
