Aims and objectives

  • To collect standardised clinical data on all genital anomalies other than isolated single undescended testis and isolated anterior hypospadias in Scotland.
  • To set up a process of monitoring and auditing the management of genital anomalies in Scotland.
  • To assess the parents reaction to their child s condition.
  • To devise methods of assessing the patient and parents understanding of the genital anomaly.
  • To start a process of assessing quality of life in early childhood and adolescence in children with genital anomalies.
