About the Draft Standards
Draft Standards for Clinical Governance & Risk Management were published 1 April 2005. These draft standards have been revised following the initial consultation exercise undertaken in the spring of 2004. The draft standards now focus on clinical governance and risk management from the perspective of patient outcomes. More specifically, the standards cover safe and effective care, the health and care experience, and assurance and accountability.
