The Practice Developemt Network for Allied Health Professions is made up of 10 Chairs (1 per profession to cover the whole of Scotland) and over 100 Network Representatives (1 per profession for each Health Board Area).

Network Chairs have been appointed to chair and co-ordinate the Practice Development Network for Allied Health Professions across Scotland. The Chairs contribute to the Scottish AHP clinical
effectiveness agenda.
effectiveness agenda.The Chairs play a pivotal role in maintaining communication links with their own professional body; own professions nationally, national organisations and other professions. They contribute to the maintenance and further development of regional and national networks, linking with and supporting Regional Representatives and disseminating information. They are also responsible for identifying specific training needs associated with Clinical Effectiveness and Practice Development.
