HELPING TO GET IT RIGHT - Children's Services Masterclass Event

NHS Quality Improvement Scotland is pleased to announce their forthcoming Children’s Services Masterclass event.  On the 7th of November 2008 in Clydebank, Glasgow, Allied Health Professionals and Nurses from around Scotland gather to share best practice, research and clinical expertise in the field of children’s services.
This is an opportunity not to be missed by Allied Health Professionals and Nurses (including Health Visitors, Practice Nurses and School Nurses) working with children.
 
Registration is free and delegates will share clinical expertise, research and emerging practice, all of which support evidence based practice.

JOINT UK CONSENSUS CONFERENCE ON ACUTE MEDICINE
Thursday, 13 & Friday, 14 November 2008
At Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh

This multi-professional conference is being held jointly with the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, The Society for Acute Medicine and the Royal College of General Practitioners (Scotland).
 
Key Questions being addressed at the conference:-
  • What is acute medicine and do we need it?
  • What is the optimal configuration for multi-professional working in the acute medical unit?
  • Ambulatory Care – what is it and do we need it?
  • How is multi-professional training optimised in the acute environment?
  • What are the appropriate standards for acute medicine?
