The Practice Development Network for Allied Health Professions - Occupational Therapy is chaired by Sandra Robertson the acting chair is Clair Muir until Summer 2008.  There is network representation across Scotland.  The dates of the network meetings for 2008 are:

Occupational Therapists' Mission Statement

In their Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Occupational Therapists , the College of Occupational Therapists (COT) state that all Occupational Therapy staff must maintain and improve their own professional standards by:

  • Achieving and continuously maintaining high standards of competence
  • Being responsible for actively maintaining and developing their professional competence
  • Achieving base service delivery on accurate and current information in the interests of high quality patient care
  • Promoting understanding of and contribute to, the development of Occupational Therapy.
