Network Representatives

About Network Representatives

Network Representatives are in place throughout Scotland to represent the 10 Allied Health Professions.  Their role is to facilitate the development of a regional network that aims to support practice development within their profession.

Their role is also to establish a local uni-professional network that will promote and support the sharing of clinical practice.  They are responsible for establishing communication links with:

  • Local uni-professional and multi-professional clinical specialist groups
  • Health Board/ Local Authority/ CHP/ CE and Clinical Governance groups/ bodies
  • Uni-professional and AHP managers

Other duties include collating and disseminating practice development issues both locally and nationally and assisting in developing a practice development register.
