To ensure the work we do and the advice we produce is meaningful and accurate, it is informed by wider national health strategies and the views of health professionals, the public and patients.
We provide opportunities for people to contribute to all aspects of our wok so that it reflects the different needs of all people in Scotland.
We work with other organisations, public, voluntary and private, that share and complement our aims. And we learn from experience in Scotland, in other countries, and in other sectors.
We are mindful of the impact our work may have on minority and vulnerable groups, and involve people from such groups to inform our activities. We are committed to being ‘fair for all’ both as an employer and as an organisation with a vision to lead in improving the quality of care and treatment delivered by NHSScotland.
