Leaflets
A leaflet for women is provided in the nine languages most requested by health boards for translation, as well as in English. The leaflet explains why women are being asked to hold their own maternity record and explains the importance of ensuring the safety of the record and of bringing it to appointments with all professionals. An initial small supply of the leaflets is being provided to the SWHMR implementation leads in each health board; the leaflets can also be downloaded and printed by midwives as required for women they are caring for.
