Networking for Nurses in Practice Development
The Practice Development Unit at NHS QIS are working to enhance the network for nurses in practice development across NHSScotland.
Strategic Leads for Practice Development have been identified from every board area and bi-annual meetings will be held to discuss national and local priorities and support practice development activities at board level. The Practice Development Unit places considerable value on its relationships with Practice Development nurses across NHSScotland and is keen to continue to support wider networking for all nurses working in practice development. The aim of the network is to provide sharing of information and experience, facilitate discussion of key issues and create opportunities to network.
A shared space on e-library will be set up to provide an easy to access networking facility and details of this will be posted when available and will be shared across the network.
Programme of meetings
It is planned to hold bi-annual meetings with identified Practice Development Strategic Leads complemented by bi-annual network events open to all nurses working in practice development.
