About the Report
Dr Kevin Woods, Chief Executive of NHSScotland, commissioned NHS QIS to prepare an Improvement Report in response to reports that person identifiable information had been found by members of the public in buildings on the site of the former Strathmartine Hospital in Tayside.
The report outlines the key findings of an expert group convened by NHS QIS to appraise the available evidence, reach conclusions as to why the incident occurred, and to propose local and national recommendations to mitigate against similar incidents occurring in the future.
