Targeting 7 key service areas
We have identified the key areas our standards need to focus on. These are:
- Multidisciplinary structure at an NHS board level
- Staff training, patient education
- Case finding
- Diagnosis
- Management of stable COPD
- Management of exacerbations
- Palliative care.
