The NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (NHS QIS) Disability Equality Scheme (DES) Review 2009 -2012 sets out how we plan to fulfil our duties as a public body in relation to disability equality.

We encourage comments and discussion on the scheme to help improve the document and implement our action plan. We welcome comments from patients, carers, members of the public as well as people who work with NHS QIS.

You may use the consultation questionnaire that can be downloaded from our website at www.nhshealthquality.org and send the responses to the address indicated on the form. The DES may also be downloaded from the same website as indicated above.
