HEI Aims and Objectives; HEI (2009)
HEI focuses on reducing healthcare associated infection (HAI) risk to patients through a rigorous inspection framework.
Specifically we will focus on:
- provide public assurance and protection, to restore public trust and confidence
- contribute to the prevention and control of HAI
- contribute to improvement in infection control and the broader quality improvement agenda across NHSScotland.
HEI will also draw on and contribute to the broader improvement agenda across NHSScotland.
